Economic News:  With all the doom and gloom seen in other areas in the real estate market, we can be thankful that so far our area seems to be weathering the storm.  Reports from the Multiple Listing Services are mostly positive, although homes are staying on the market longer and builders do have extra inventory.  Foreclosures are increasing, but they are not as high yet as they were a couple of years ago.  UNCW economists have issued economic reports and forcasts for our area.  You can get this information from the following link:  http://www.rcasenc.com/newsmanager/templates/rcatemplate.aspx?articleid=55&zoneid=1
